I work primarily with the Bobath concept, which is a holistic way of treating neurological patients and even serves also to treat patients who suffer from a neurological pathology, i.e. understanding that each segment of the body and each system of the same is a part of a whole.
This is also a holistic way of treating patients, initiated by Andrew Taylor Still, who set up the first school in 1892 in the USA.
What do they consist on?
The body is formed by different types of tissues, one of which is the connective tissue, present in different parts of the body; this type of tissue is part of our muscles, organs, fascia, bones, etc. in different proportions and quantities.
What does this therapy consist on?
The voluntary nervous system is divided in two parts: central nervous system and peripheral nervous system. The union of both forms a whole.

Manual lymphatic drainage (MLD) is a technique aimed at activating the functioning of the lymphatic system. It consists of making very smooth manoeuvres on the skin that displace the fluid retained and help to evacuate it at the different parts of the body.
